We have striven over the years to create a unique experience. The teahouse is located at 20 Old Newark Pompton Turnpike, which is in the historic section of the Township of Wayne in New Jersey. This house is listed with the Wayne Historical Society as the first official post office, which at the time was the Ryerson – De Mott General Store, dating back to 1895. Over the years we have had customers come in and tell us stories of life as it was back then. Since we are a small tea room, with only have a limited amount of tables, we encourage reservations to insure there will be a table ready for you when you arrive. Each guest is served their own pot of tea in a lovely hand made cozy. This allows the last cup of tea to taste as delicious as the first cup.
